Indecisiveness Rant
As of yesterday, I started to follow dollcrds' tutorials on Youtube in hopes of learning new things to enhance my website. Fortunately, I have been enjoying that so far, as I've learned to implement a pop-up window and a webdeck player. However, anyone who's been following me on Neocities for awhile knows that I'm (very) quick to change my layout. To sum up my Website Legacy page, I've changed my website layouts under the name "lilysecret" repeatedly every few weeks to a month. Mind you, it's only been a few weeks since version 1 of bunny-lover and I already feel bored.
However, a part of me thinks that this is a good thing! Everytime I give my website a rebrand, I get more recognition, so I think it's worth a shot. I could even use the stuff I've learned recently as well!
Additionally, I also think that rebranding my Neocities account can help me realize that I'm making a personal website for myself. Coding a website to show self-expression through webpages that I like is something that I should always be practicing. Sometimes I feel like I'm too worried about recognition and gaining followers because not everyone follows a website on Neocities simply for the design (like myself) but for interests and ideas! So, I hope that once I decide on how I'm going to rebrand my website I do it for myself over recognition. After all, what's the point of coding a website to run away from social media if I'm spending time looking at views and following all the time?
