Summer Break Activities
Since summer break started, I've been thinking about what I'm going to do. While I do want to hangout with my friends occasionally, I also want my days staying at home to be just as fun!
Fortunately, thinking about my summer break activities wasn't that hard. I think that's because I've been coding on Neocities for months now, so creating my "About the Webmaster" page, logs, and documenting my music taste has made me realize that there's so many things that I truly enjoy. It's gotten to the point where I'd go to bed thinking about what to do next. Overall, learning HTML and CSS has allowed me to express myself, which I'm really enjoying right now :)
Anyways, below are the summer activities that I've done to make myself happy:
- Code my Neocities Website: My main hobby that I enjoy!
- Go shopping with family; I love retail therapy and developing my style. (This isn't a stay-at-home hobby but it's still fun!)
- Consume media
Media Consumption
The only reason why I haven't edited my site everyday like how I used to is simply because I've been consuming media. Most days I've listened to 1 album, watched 1 movie, and binged a few shows. As for games I only play the mobile ones listed on the "Currently..." section on my index (the name is too long to say low-key 💔). I also stopped playing Fortnite months ago, and I stopped playing Roblox since all of the games are basically the same.On the bright side, I'm really happy that I've started to listen to different albums and eps more. I made a wheel to randomly pick one based on my music taste (you should too), and so far it's been really fun! I think I added too much options though because there's about 90 albums and eps total...
Recently Listened Albums/EPs That I Recommend:
- Solo Star by Solange (Album): This album is honestly one of my new favorites! I love how upbeat the album is with catchy lyrics, making it fun to sing along! (Rating: 9.5/10)
- ache in my tooth by flowerovlove (EP): This ep is bubbly and fun, and I also think it's a good way to start getting used to flowerovlove's discography. (Rating: 8/10)
